A fusion of European melody and American aggression - Trigger is an explosive melodic metal band based in Melbourne's west. Influenced by bands such as Iron Maiden, Trivium and Megadeth, Trigger's twin guitar attack and soaring vocals are powerful while retaining a traditional aesthetic.

Founded by Sean and Luke Solley (guitars) in February 2012, with Tim Leopold (vox), Tim Joyce (drums) and Matt Ientile (bass), Trigger have been tearing up Melbourne's metal scene for two years and are releasing their debut EP "Machina" on February 22, 2014.
